  •    3W (Who, What, Where)

The who does what where (3W) database is the one product that is universally agreed to be the most important priority for any co-ordination activity. Knowing which organizations (WHO) are carrying out which activities (WHAT) in which locations (WHERE) is essential if those organizations and activities are to be coordinated in a way that ensures that humanitarian needs are met.

Myanmar 3W data is organised by sector. Each sector is divided in sub-sectors reflecting activities reported by contributing organisations to the MIMU. The 3W database for Myanmar was established after Nargis to support the humanitarian response in the Delta (Ayeyarwady and Yangon divisions). It has since been expanded to cover other parts of the country and will ultimately be reflecting humanitarian and development activities in all states and divisions of Myanmar.
