Description :

Heavy rain as part of the monsoon season caused flooding in many parts of Myanmar starting in the beginning of August 2012. Flood inundate area can be observed from False Color Composite (Band 721) of Satellite image (MODIS) from 18-22 August 2012. Flood innundated area can be observed as Blue to Dark blue color. Green color area indicates vegetation. Light grey to Cyan color indicates cloud cover.
