What is the MIMU Contact List? How do I find Contact Information?

The MIMU Contact List is a searchable directory of the contact details of offices and individuals from UN agencies, INGOs, LNGOs, diplomatic bodies and coordination teams working in humanitarian and development sectors in Myanmar. It currently holds 1498 individual contacts from 914 offices and 425 entities (UN, NGO, donors, embassies).

The MIMU Contact List can be accessed as an online directory on the Contacts List page.

How can I find a contact on the MIMU Contact List?

Use the Online MIMU Contact List. You can search by the name of the individual, the agency or the location (state/region names), however note that the fields are “spell-sensitive” – be sure the first letters are correct and the possible names will come up automatically. If you can’t find the contact you are looking for, contact [email protected]

Alternatively, use the general Search Box at the top right corner of the MIMU website for an easy search.

Why can’t I find the contact I am looking for?

The MIMU Contact List is a directory of humanitarian and development partners’ contacts which are shared with the MIMU to support coordination. If you cannot find a contact,

  • Check the spelling of the name/agency – it must be correct to generate the correct address (spell-sensitive).
  • The agency/individual may not have shared their contacts through the MIMU

Why are some Contacts not up-to-date?

The MIMU Contact List is verified with agencies in November/December each year, but it is up to agencies and individuals to inform us of any changes and additions to the Contact List.  Please inform us of any out-dated information you find on the MIMU Contact List and we will follow-up accordingly.
