This MIMU Bulletin offers an interactive tool to explore products and services of the Myanmar Information Management Unit (MIMU), with most recent updates during the second half of 2025, covering the period from July to December.
- Flood Preparedness and Response: In response to the 2025 monsoon floods, MIMU provided informational materials, emergency updates, and 10 timely flood maps covering affected areas (including parts of Ayeyarwady, Bago, Mandalay, and Magway Regions, and Mon and Kayin States). New rainfall dashboard was developed based on historical data, to understand patterns and provide predictive analysis.
- MIMU HDP Nexus 5W: The August 2025 round documented over 160,000 activities, from 214 organisations, to support coordination and planning efforts.
- New Interactive Insights: For the first time, two new interactive infographics were launched to help partners visualise complex operational trends. The first explores the August 2025 HDP Nexus 5W, offering a detailed perspective on activity concentration and organisational spread, including a specific analysis of the March 2025 earthquake response across 81 townships. The second visualises the alarming landmine and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) contamination across 211 townships (1999–2025) and casualty trends since 2021.
- Trainings: 10 trainings were delivered in the second half of 2025 on data visualisation, mapping, Excel, and other IM-related skills, building the capacity of 208 colleagues from humanitarian, development, and civil society organisations.
