The research aims to encompass perspectives and experiences of young people on socio-economic situations, aged 18-35 years old, in Myanmar in the aftermath of 2021. The targeted sample size of the survey is 8,500, and it is being conducted nationwide. In addition, the research project will also capture qualitative data concerning comprehensive experiences of young people via Focus Group Discussions and Key Informant Interviews.

The survey includes questions that identify hearing, remembering, walking, seeing, self-care and communication difficulties that respondents might have. However, the concentration of persons with disabilities among the respondent will likely be small as the research is not specifically targeted on persons with disabilities.
