This MIMU Bulletin offers an in-depth interactive overview of the Myanmar Information Management Unit’s (MIMU) activities during the second half of 2024, covering the period from July to December.

During this period, MIMU strengthened its role in supporting humanitarian, development, and peace (HDP) activities across Myanmar, building on core products and services:

• Flood Preparedness and Response: MIMU provided timely flood maps, informational materials, and emergency information, reaching the communities through MIMU website and key social media platforms during the monsoon season and in the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi.
• 16 Days of Activism Campaign: MIMU’s infographics on gender-related facts and figures received wide engagement, highlighting the many challenges faced by women and girls in Myanmar.
• MIMU HDP Nexus 5W: The August 2024 round documented over 150,000 activities, contributed by 198 organisations, to support coordination and planning efforts.
• Trainings: MIMU delivered a wide range of technical trainings on data analysis, visualisation, mapping, and Excel, building the capacity of over 160 colleagues from humanitarian and development agencies and civil societies.
